The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a drastic change in the working
pattern of work everywhere in various organizations and has also affected the
individual’s life. This pandemic has come out with the concept of New Normal
and work-from-home is now a normal concept among people. The purpose of this
research paper is to understand the impact on work-life balance in work from
home scenario due to the Covid-19 pandemic and also study the job satisfaction
of the employees while working from home. The researcher has collected the data
from 400 respondents who are working in the education sector, information
technology sector and communication sector in Maharashtra, India. These samples
were selected by the Stratified Random Sampling Method. This research focuses on
the various problems faced by the employees while working from home and also
study the impact of these problems on performance and efficiency of the
employees. Instead of staying productive and self-motivated while
work-from-home respondents were actually struggling to maintain the balance
between professional and personal life. The cut-off in salary and fear of
losing a job due to this pandemic becomes one of the reasons for employee’s job
