Academicians’ satisfaction is the key to leading the new young
generation to the peak of development. Therefore, providing a flexible
workplace and giving more benefits to the University teachers is a key for
tackling the current issues of Afghan society. The data was collected through
an online cross-sectional method via a voluntarily self-reported standardized
questionnaire from 72 participants of both genders from public universities.
Furthermore, the purposive sampling technique was applied for data collection.
The questionnaire had three dimensions and its reliability for Job satisfaction
(0.789), employees’ benefits (0.901), and workplace flexibility (0.873). The
result showed that job experience did have a significant impact on employees’ benefits.
Similarly, employees’ benefits did not have a significant association with job
satisfaction. And working hours per week also did not have a significant
correlation with job experience, job satisfaction, employees’ benefits, and
workplace flexibility. However, Job satisfaction level had a positive
significant correlation with workplace flexibility and it had a negative
significant association with the job experience of the participants.
