Abstract:

Vocabulary is the base of any sentence. Vocabulary helps to enhance and improve Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing Skills. Nowadays, many reels and shorts of vocabulary learning are available and uploaded by the users of Instagram and Facebook. As we know that people of today’s  era are very techno-savvy. They use social media throughout the day. Mobile Apps made vocabulary learning very easy. Many applications are available for android and iOS to develop vocabulary. Some of the vocabulary applications provide examples, meaning, synonyms, antonyms and images also. This will be very helpful for developing understanding of the vocabulary. It is not so easy to memorise each and every word come across while reading or listening. Conventional classroom teaching becomes monotonous and boring. In this age of digitalisation and technology, the student-centred approach is used in the classroom teaching and learning. Students likes to be autonomous and enhance their vocabulary and want to expose in the real-life situations.
