This article intends to describe and justify
the need and importance of Blended teaching and learning in education.
Due to the initiation of Technology 4.0, Education 4.0, industry 4.0, etc., the
2K generation are enjoying many opportunities and obstacles.
Psychologically, Technology 4.0 forced the 2k generation to be engaged in
the digital world, learn in digital, maintain digital relationships, earn
online, spend the online, virtual tour, etc. E-learning may boost the cognitive
domain but digital life is gradually reducing social competency. On the other
hand, conventional learning gives more importance to the affective dominion
which will be very helpful in the real-world situation. Keeping the above
conceptual framework as background this article describes the need and
importance of Blended teaching and learning in the contemporary educational
system.
