Abstract:

In the literature is a very important role of the symbols. In this symbol is always create a new meaning. Author is not only the directly present and then writer use in the symbol and present to indirectly. In this research paper explain what the role of symbols in literature is. In the 17^th   century metaphysical poetry describe a different and natural symbols and 17^th   century is beginning of the symbolism. In the 18^th century describe a different symbols like Church, earthquake, ghosts, Cards , the lock etc. In this research paper described the 17^th   century different symbols using the literature. In this 18^th century is also used different symbols described this paper.
