EFFECTIVENESS OF ONLINE LEARNING DURING COVID-19: A STUDY WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE STUDENTS OF COTTON UNIVERSITY

Abstract:

Online mode of education has become the only way to continue teaching-learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic situation. Along with other Indian states, the educational institutions of Assam have also espoused the online mode to continue teaching-learning activities in the state. However, the effectiveness of online learning in an underdeveloped state like Assam is a matter of investigation. Therefore, in the present study, the investigator has tried to find out the effectiveness of online learning. A total of 349 students from the Arts and Science Stream of Cotton University was conveniently selected as the sample of the study. The study was conducted under the descriptive survey method and simple statistics, graphs were used to analyze and present the data. The study reveals that ensuring the effectiveness of online learning is still a big challenge.
