Currently, India is trying to surge its economy in every
way possible, ensuring healthy growth. The recent initiatives to boost the
manufacturing sector were undertaken in 2004 with the name Make in India. There
were few ancillary programs to it i.e., Skill India, Digital India, Start-up
India, etc. All the programs require skilled labor, for which it becomes
imperative to upgrade higher education policies. With the pace at which the
economy is emerging as a developing economy, it becomes necessary to make it an
educational awareness generation. The need of the hour is to pursue this as
soon as possible, and it is visible with the government’s new education policy
(NEP). This makes it essential to study this topic. The current study envisages
the relationship between Make in India policy and education (NEP) and their
interdependence. The study explains the ecosystem between education and the
program's success, confirming the interrelation between them.
