India’s vision of Viksit
Bharat 2047—a developed, inclusive, and self-reliant nation—places
education at the heart of transformation. The Integrated Teacher Education
Programme (ITEP), launched under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aims
to revolutionize teacher preparation by merging academic rigor with pedagogical
depth. This paper explores ITEP through the lens of Neutrosophic Theory, a
mathematical framework that accommodates truth, falsehood, and indeterminacy
simultaneously. By applying neutrosophic logic to teacher education reform, we
uncover the nuanced realities, contradictions, and uncertainties embedded in
policy implementation, curriculum design, and educator development. The study
proposes a neutrosophic model for evaluating ITEP’s effectiveness in shaping
future-ready teachers and aligning with the goals of Viksit Bharat.
