Storytelling
is a significant aspect of Indian pedagogy and has played a very important
cultural and educational role as a timeless tool. It has always been more than
just a method of imparting knowledge to students but has bridged cultural
heritage and knowledge. However, modern-day incorporations of pedagogies and
functions, such as rote learning, have made a disconnect from ancient wisdom.
This research aims to study and analyze the significant and revolutionary
changes and potential that storytelling can offer as a revolutionary
pedagogical tool and technique. It will try to bridge ancient Indian
storytelling with modern applications and tools like technology and digital
tools like interactive platforms, gamification, and AR/VR technology. This
research aims to study and understand the significant and revolutionary changes
and potential that storytelling as a pedagogical tool and technique can offer
and its efficacy in relation to indigenous knowledge, language, and
inclusiveness. It will not only show and prove its efficacy and importance but
will also offer some significant findings. It will not only show and prove how
storytelling is important and beneficial from a cultural and indigenous
knowledge point of view but will also lay emphasis on 21st-century skills,
