Abstract:

Sanatana Dharma, known as the eternal path, forms the bedrock of Hindu philosophy and spirituality, offering a comprehensive and adaptable framework for living a righteous life. This research paper examines the paramountcy of Sanatana Dharma in shaping ethical and spiritual dimensions across diverse cultural contexts. By exploring the foundational principles of Sanatana Dharma, such as dharma (duty), karma (action and consequence), and moksha (liberation), the study highlights its relevance in addressing contemporary moral and spiritual challenges.

A focal point of this research is the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, a significant sect within the broader Sanatana Dharma tradition. Founded by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the early 19th century, this movement emphasizes devotion (bhakti), moral discipline, and social service. The Swaminarayan Sampradaya has played a crucial role in revitalizing Sanatana Dharma, particularly by promoting its core values in a manner that resonates with modern society.

This paper analyses the historical emergence, philosophical contributions, and cultural impact of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya. It explores how Bhagwan Swaminarayan's teachings continue to influence millions globally, fostering a way of life centered on righteousness, compassion, and devotion. Through this analysis, the research aims to provide insights into the enduring relevance of Sanatana Dharma and the Swaminarayan tradition in navigating the ethical and spiritual complexities of the contemporary world.
