This research aims to
give a full picture of the conflict within Ethiopia's north focusing on Tigray.
It tackles four key research questions to explore and assess the conflict's
complex nature. First, what causes the dispute? Second, who plays main and
supporting roles in this scenario? Third how has the conflict changed as it's
gone on? Last how has this fight affected people and the region? To answer
these questions, the study used a critical qualitative review of literature,
which helped analyze the war's complexity. The study finds that many different
groups play a part in the Tigray conflict, which stems from multiple factors.
These groups include local militias from Tigray and Amhara national defense
forces from Ethiopia and Eritrea, and outside countries like Iran, Turkey, and
China. Their involvement has made the conflict more complex and unpredictable.
The report also points out that the conflict has had a big impact on social,
political, economic, and personal levels. These effects include many deaths
political uncertainty social breakdown, and widespread economic damage. The
study's results show how tangled and interconnected the war in Tigray is
revealing how various factors and players have fueled a long-lasting and
devastating crisis in the area.
