Purpose: The purpose of the
present study is to examine the impact of covid-19 on
practical skills of allied health science students of new Delhi, India.
Design/ methodology: Descriptive method
of research was adopted to carry out the study. In order to study the impact
of covid-19 on practical skills of allied health science students, a sample of 300 allied health science students out of which 240 were
paramedical science students and 80 were rehabilitation students from Jamia
Hamdard University New Delhi over a period of two months. The study uses a
simple random sampling technique method and the data was analyzed using
descriptive statistical method. A self-constructed questionnaire was
employed. The percentage statistics,
mean, t-test and standard deviation were employed for statistical treatment.
Findings: The results
of the study revealed that most of the participants belonged to the age group of 18-23 years, the participants
were both from paramedical and rehabilitation department. Out of which 77.3% were
undergraduate, 11.3% were doing diploma, 10.3% were post graduates and 1.2%
were internee. The results of the study revealed that there is a negative
