Abstract:

Por is a village 2.8 Km from Ambapur and 20 Km from Ahmedabad. Here, nesting of cattle egret was observed and studied during the month of April to July in 2022. The maximum number of nests were observed at tree (Acasia Nilotica) which covering the lake area. This study includes the observations of various activities like nest building, breeding parameters such as egg laying, incubation, hatching and Parental care was performed by cattle egrets with successful breeding.
